Through the course students will gain : 1) An understanding of concepts of urban design and an appreciation for the meaning of Urban spaces. 2) The knowledge about various theories and process for Urban Design.

The Urban Design is a course that will deal in detail with the theories for urban design. It will look at the urban as a complex of extended socio-cultural spaces and places and as the result of the direct impact of design approaches. The goal will be to provide the students with an understanding of future paradigm for urban development and improvement.
