  • 역사문화자원 보존활용 : 지역의 역사와 문화를 대표하는 건축역사자원 및 문화자원을 활용하여 지방도시의 정체성과 고유성 회복 방안 연구
    Study on strategies to restore the identity and uniqueness of local cities by utilizing architectural and historical resources representing regional history and culture
  • 조선시대 부산과 남해안 일대에 건설된 연해읍성을 조사하여 유형 분류와 특성을 고찰하고 지방 도시의 역사적 건축을 활용한 생활환경 창의적 디자인 방안 연구
    Research on the coastal castles and town walls of the Joseon Dynasty, which were built in the areas of Busan and the south coast, to classify the types and investigate the characteristics, and to study the living environment and creative design plan using historical architecture of local cities.
  • 전통조형미의 적용 : 한국건축사와 미술사 전공자 간 학제 간 연구를 통해 전통건축의 단청 조형미를 규명하고 이를 현대적으로 표현한 창의적/혁신적 디자인 연구
    Creative and innovative design study that identifies the formative beauty of Dancheong in traditional architecture through interdisciplinary research between Korean architects and art historians, and expresses it in a modern way.
  • 지역문화자원 활용 : 조선후기에 건립된 안동지역의 서원을 대상으로 전통건축의 생산체제와 조형에 관하여 고찰하고 현대생활의 SOC 생산을 통하여 사회적 문제를 해결하는 방안과 생활 SOC의 설계에 지역문화자원을 활용하는 방안제시
    Considering the production system and formation of traditional architecture in the Andong area built in the late Joseon Dynasty, and suggesting ways to solve social problems through the production of SOC in modern life and ways to utilize local cultural resources in the design of living SOC.
